Group Speaking
The Wellesley Village Church presents:
Unwrap your Teen's Gifts:
Stress Free Ways to Improve
Your Family's Happiness
Sunday, November 2, 5:00 to 6:30 pm
This is an overview of Christine’s study and provides a good foundation
for the skills workshop offered in April.
Drawing on her research on the strengths and gifts of kids in the
“Bottom 80,™” Christine Duvivier will discuss the myths of education that
damage our youth and the opportunities we have to improve our approach.
Christine’s work helps educators, schools and parents to identify and
appreciate the strengths of all our youth, giving them relief from
anxiety and hope for the future. She provides insights from positive
psychology, presents what great teachers and schools are doing and
describes what parents can do to unwrap the gifts of our kids.

Liberate Your Adolescent
From the Myths of Education
FREE Teleconference*: April 29 from 12-1 p.m.

Leader: Christine Duvivier
Middle schools and high schools have become academic pressure cookers and our kids are feeling the stress. The epidemic of anxiety and depression is real-- and starting younger. Christine’s talk helps parents understand that kids in the bottom 80% of their classes have extraordinary strengths and gifts that are perfectly suited to future success. Not only that, but top students are often offered false promises.
Christine’s goal is to liberate students and parents from the myths of education that harm teens and to help them understand what matters most. The presentation will leave you feeling elevated, hopeful, relaxed and optimistic about the future-- whether your teen is in The Bottom 80™ or Top 20.
About the Leader: Christine Duvivier’s research on the strengths and gifts in The Bottom 80™ uncovered both damaging myths and exciting opportunities for improving our approach to adolescent education. She speaks, coaches and leads workshops on topics including The Myths of Education and Strengthening Teen Optimism. She has a Master’s Degree in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
